Sustainable Clubs Map

Rowing clubs, sailing clubs and watersport centres around the world are cutting fuel, noise and emissions. Some run electric safety and coaching boats, some generate their own power with solar panels and store it in batteries, and some monitor the health of the water they row and sail on. This map shows who has already made the switch, what they run, and which clubs are happy to share their experience with others as an Electric Ambassador or Electric Champion.

Use the filters to narrow the map and list by club type, sustainability feature, region or country, or search for a club or town.

Talk to a club that has already done it

The best way to find out what electric boats, solar or battery storage are really like is to ask a club that uses them every day. Clubs marked on the map as:

• Electric Ambassador are happy to be listed and to answer the occasional question from another club.
• Electric Champion go further, hosting visits or demo sessions and sharing their results with clubs considering the switch.

Contact details are only shown where a club has given us permission. If you would like an introduction to a club, get in touch and we will connect you.

Is your club on the map?

Whoever supplied your boats or installed your panels, we would love to add your club. Tell us what you run, whether you have solar panels or battery storage, and whether you would be willing to be an Electric Ambassador or Champion. Contact details are never published without your written permission, and you can ask us to update or remove your listing at any time.
